Important opportunity to save a puppy

Hey Guys,

Here is an opportunity to grab a great new CD and support a worthy cause.

Joe King Carrasco recorded a CD at Ruta Maya for a benefit for the Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch.

Check out this link to learn more:

http://www.utopiarescue.com/

JK is donating 50% of the sales of this new live CD , “Concerto Para Los Perros” to the ranch. The CD comes out today, and it would blow everyone’s minds if y’all bought one. Joe King is a good guy, a great musician, and a great friend of JAX (remember his free show to help jump start JAX last year?).

So, let’s give a little back, show Joe King the love, and help a really important cause.

You can buy the cd at: http://www.joeking.com/joe-king-carrasco-mercado

I’ll do my part: come in with the new CD and I’ll give you a pizza for half price….

By the way, the CD rocks!!!!!

Let’s account for at least 100 CD’s sold this week!

Thanks and cheers!

Jack

2 minutes, 2 things to do to help JAX

Hi Folks,

One of the most important acknowledgements in the Austin music scene is the Austin Chronicle Reader's Poll.

It would be enormously beneficial if JAX won in any of the venue related categories.

If you could take just 2 minutes to do the following, we could receive the recognition that would help take JAX to the next level....

1. Use the link below to vote for Jax Neighborhood Cafe

2. Forward this to anyone and everyone you know that would also give us a vote.

If you received this e-mail and don't know who JAX is or don't want to receive further notes, it is because I did a "send to all" to reach as many people as possible.

Don't worry, I wont "spam" you going forward.

But, come on, vote for us anyway!!!!!!

Thanks guys, JAX Loves You!!!!!!!!! Let's keep this party going!

LIVE @ JAX ~ Larry Lange & His Lonely Knights! Dec. 10th

$5 Cover

Playing with Paul Ray and the Cobras, Stevie Vaughan, Angela Strehli, and Doug Sahm, exceptional bass player and Austin legend Larry Lange, is one of the architects of the “Live Music Capitol of the World”. Touring the world with Delbert McClinton and sharing the stage with Willie Nelson, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and countless others, Larry takes to the Knight-leading role like he was born to it. Why this music? Larry grew up in Victoria, Texas during a time when regional hits were being played on the local radio stations. Musicians from San Antonio, Texas to Lafayette, Louisiana were trading and playing each others songs. Sunny Ozuna, Joe Berry, Warren Storm, Huey Meaux , the Crazy Cajun – these and many more had early influence on Larry Lange. Songs from his roots – the reason he ever picked up a guitar.

After spending his childhood in Kansas City, MO, Seume lived his formative years in The Netherlands with missionary parents, visiting much of Europe. Following high school, he moved back to the United States and earned a degree in philosophy. While in college, Seume picked up the guitar, began writing songs, and started a band as his first forays into creating original music. Before this time, he’d played piano and trumpet, but had yet to fully realize that music would become his primary passion and focus for his talent.
