ArtZ Ribhouse has taken over the kitchen at JAX and will begin serving this Saturday. Add to that the new food trailers in our parking lot, and it's got to be the best destination in town! RibZ, Cajun food, N. Carolina BBQ. Lou Ann.... does it get any better?

This group of Austin, TX musicians came together under the Ghosts banner less than 6 months ago and have already become a Tour De Force of songwritin' and groovin. Guitarist/Songwriter/Vocalist Greg Harkins and Bassist/Songwriter/Vocalist Kristopher Wade have spent the last 3 years swingin' hard with the Marshall Ford Swing band while Drummer Jared Allison was traversing the Atlantic with Metal outfit Iron Age, all the while the guys were coming home to the sweet sounds of Vocalist/Songwriter/Artist extraordinaire Jacob Jaeger who, after a stint with The Marshall Ford Swing Band, has been honing his craft to a spoon-sharp point.

These retreads from bands such as the eighties rock band Mainstreet out of northern Virginia, and the ever popular Austin band Javelin Boot which wowed audiences for over eighteen years, just can’t get music out of their system. Many years after the success of their original bands Driver has created a buzz as one of Austin’s best songwriting groups, and one that is such fun to watch.

Touring the world with Delbert McClinton and sharing the stage with Willie Nelson, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and countless others, Larry takes to the Knight-leading role like he was born to it. Why this music? Larry grew up in Victoria, Texas during a time when regional hits were being played on the local radio stations. Musicians from San Antonio, Texas to Lafayette, Louisiana were trading and playing each others songs. Sunny Ozuna, Joe Berry, Warren Storm, Huey Meaux , the Crazy Cajun – these and many more had early influence on Larry Lange. Songs from his roots – the reason he ever picked up a guitar.

After spending his childhood in Kansas City, MO, Seume lived his formative years in The Netherlands with missionary parents, visiting much of Europe. Following high school, he moved back to the United States and earned a degree in philosophy. While in college, Seume picked up the guitar, began writing songs, and started a band as his first forays into creating original music. Before this time, he’d played piano and trumpet, but had yet to fully realize that music would become his primary passion and focus for his talent.

David Beck is a young songwriter from Texas. His folk rock roots set him right in line with artists like Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. He has spent the past few years performing all over Texas and the surrounding states, even taking his music across the Atlantic to Europe. His career has led him to work with artists like Todd Snider, Reckless Kelly, Gary Allen and Robert Earl Keen. His song “Really Real” was co-written with Keen and Beck’s father, an established professional musician. David’s music is all self produced with the help of Zach Samuel on drums. The live show brings a full band on stage to carry out each song. His professional experience and proven abilities suggest that there is a very promising future for this young musician.
